Description: In the rhyme of melancholic tunes, the blues flourish, the mirror is being put back together and the experiment begins. Small Souki is a Greek musician/music-therapist and mathematician, who arrived in the multicultural Vienna to meddle the city’s consistency with the elements of the South, recreate musical patterns, opening the space to her guests, to explore the limits of their norms under changes in the musical background. Together with the Big Trouble Band, they fuzz the air with melody and fusion in a lyrical trance.
Our first EP album “We Lost The Sky-Part I” is released on the 21st of March. Besides this there are singles released in 2022, either by Small Souki or Small Souki & The Big Trouble Band.

Toxic Violin
Stylistically located in the heavy/psychedelic rock genre, the power-duo Toxic Violin brings “feminist verve to (the) heavy rock department” (Vorarlberger Nachrichten, 18.2.2023). They perform with a rarely seen setup:
Roxanne Szankovich multitasks on electric violin, effects pedals, loop station and vocals, while Sylvia Deixler provides the necessary grounding on electric bass.
Their music comes from the deepest rocker heart and speaks of themes that drive and move them: the love of libido, feminism, and the lust for vice. A little bit of actionism is allowed now and then: “Some things you just have to see and not only hear.” (- mica Release Radar, Dominik Beyer 3/31/2023)
“Riffs that really shred, lull and drift off (…) flatter the discerning rocker’s ear.”
– Vorarlberger Nachrichten on Toxic Violin, 2/18/2023
“(Toxic Violin) inspire (…) in particular, however, those who don’t have to watch their fingers counting to decipher the virtuosic changing odd meters.”
– mica Release Radar, Dominik Beyer 3/31/2023
“Wicked sound”
– Festivalgoer Seeknificance, 8/15/2021 via Toxic Violin
